I think this should be an actual ability of them. Some scripted encounters, like on the Garden Terrace, show them scaling up a building to get to you. Would also make them a bigger threat if they could leap really far and climb buildings. Also the ability to just slam you around in melee and cripple the hell out of you or knock you a crazy distance. I'd love to see them be given the ability to charge you in a "bull rush" and mess your day up. Late game they aren't a threat at all since they no ranged capabilities. But, overall they still aren't an issue.Įarly in the game they are a thread mainly because they can soak up tons of damage. I love the way that the deathclaws now will bob and weave when approaching you, how they will hide out of line of sight and wait for you if you go somewhere they can't reach you, or even the way they can grab you and really mess you up.
